Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Summary:
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties. Must be able to lift and carry equipment as well as work on elevated levels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Be able to troubleshoot industrial electronic controls using a multimeter. Lies out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Maintains tools and equipments and keeps supplies and parts in order.
- Traces out short circuits in wiring. Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors. Performs minor repairs such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches. Troubleshoot and disassemble defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, and reassembles equipment. Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. Operates cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manger and/or Operations Manager.
Qualifications

- Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics or 2 years’ experience in related field and/or combination. Experience with welding and fabrication is preferred. HVAC experience preferred.
- Skills: Accomplished skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and reading schematics are necessary to perform in this job. Knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor drives, and PLC’s are required. HVAC knowledge is preferred.
- Work Environment: Must be able to perform in multi-craft environment. Work hours vary with seniority preference and skill level. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Reports to: Team Leader / Co-Team Leader
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
Set up equipment and make all standard adjustments to start up. Run product in efficient productive manner. Responsible for quality and quantity of production, inspection of product, packaging and housekeeping around equipment. Prepare daily production report.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure appearance, color and clarity of products.
- Checks dimensions for accuracy (including width, gauge and length).
- Positions and secures labels on products. Checks labels for accuracy.
- Able to verify quality of product by camber and air checks.
- Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
- Provide accurate daily production reports.

- Able to lift 30 lbs. – 100 lbs.
- Up to 200 lbs. lateral pull on winder shaft.
- Crane lifts of 80 lbs. and above
- Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Must be team oriented and work well with others in order to obtain company goals. Must have good housekeeping skills.
